Ingenion Medical hires Chief Operating Officer

LONDON, UK – Ingenion Medical Limited announces that Susan Finch joined the senior management of the company as Chief Operating Officer to support the pre-commercialization activities and launch of its ground breaking CymActive SoftValve device to treat non-neurogenic chronic urinary retention in men.  The CymActive SoftValve is the first in a range of devices from Ingenion to treat chronic urinary control issues.

Ed Cappabianca, CEO of Ingenion Medical, said: “Ingenion is very pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Finch as our Chief Operating Officer.  Susan joins our team following a successful 25-year career in operations and senior management roles in both medical devices and industrial manufacturing industries for both privately held and large international blue-chip companies.  Most recently, Susan spent 7 years as General Manager for Pennine Healthcare, in addition to years of operational management experience in other industries with companies such as Bosch and ICO Polymers.  Susan received her MBA from Nottingham University Business school.

“Susan’s comprehensive understanding of the quality and regulatory requirements of the medical device sector, including bringing her previous company through the transition from MDD to MDR will be of significant value to Ingenion, as we are bringing our lead product through the CE Marking process. She has also successfully built and led a number of diverse teams during a challenging period to ensure that critical healthcare products were supplied to the NHS.”

“Susan will be responsible for implementing Ingenion’s Quality Management System, managing our contract manufacturing relationships, and supply chains to ensure that Ingenion is able to provide high quality products to a wide range of healthcare providers and patients.”

Susan Finch, Chief Operating Officer, commented: “I am delighted to join Ingenion and support the launch of their innovative, life-changing CymActive catheter range of medical devices. This product range will significantly improve the mobility and quality of life for patients who need this type of device, and I am excited to work closely as a member of the executive team at Ingenion to bring these much needed products to market.”
